Bland stamp is very bland.
I've seen people complain about the population of the human race many times on here, so I decided to make a stamp about it. I haven't really seen another stamp like this one, but if there is one then I'm sorry I didn't see it.
We regulate other animals' populations, so we should regulate ours!
Yes, it's true we control other species' populations, but we have already been trying to control our own population as well. Condoms, vasectomies (and tube tying), the pill, and abortions exist so that people can make the choice themselves to not have children. If people choose to not use them, then that is their choice.
I'm against abortion.
Then get a vasectomy/get your tubes tied or use condoms and the pill.
But I want children.
Then adopt a child or even be a foster parent. If you want your own kids however, then you are contributing to the so called problem you are complaining about.
I don't have the money!
Keep your legs closed and save up until you do. / If you don't have enough money then why would you want a child if you do not have the means to take care of it?
Why can't the government just make a hunting season for humans?
It'd be mass murder, hell it would even be considered genocide. I'm pretty sure many of you would be quite upset if your family and friends were killed during that hunting season, perhaps you would even demand that they'd stop.
Can't the government just make a program where people can volunteer to be killed?
I'm pretty sure not many people would actually volunteer for that and I'm also sure whoever suggests that would not actually volunteer themselves.

One thing I don’t like is how people think that addressing human overpopulation means you need to be a human hating moron. Yes, I do think human overpopulation is a concern but the human population has mechanisms to regulate itself whereas with deer and shit they just breed out of control until they all die a slow horrible death once they suck an area dry because they have no comprehension of the future, thus need to be hunted to thin their numbers.
Personally I’m just not having kids, mostly because of my own personal reasons, but partly because of overpopulation concerns (probably still wouldn’t have kids if overpopulation wasn’t an issue, just me though). Though I am not one of those raging “REEEEEEE HUMANS ARE A DISEASE AND NEED TO ALL DIE” morons, in fact the thing I am most concerned about human overpopulation is how it will negatively impact human quality of life, how it can fuck society, and what kind of effect it will have on humanity’s future.
Human haters somehow think all the animals will come out and sing in a circle around a rainbow holding hands in a flower-filled meadow under a smiling sun if we all disappear. In fact some species are better off with humans, we are the only reason pandas still exist.
Being concerned over overpopulation is more a pro-human standpoint than a pro-animal one, because if we all vanish animals will just do what they’ve always done and it will be just as brutal as ever.
